What BPC-157 is

A synthetic pentadecapeptide — fifteen amino acids, derived from a protein found in gastric juice.

Preclinical research describes promotion of new blood vessel growth, increased fibroblast migration, improved cell survival under oxidative stress via the FAK-paxillin pathway, and upregulated growth hormone receptor expression in tendon fibroblasts.

What it doesn't establish

Human data is limited to small pilot studies. There are no large published human trials establishing efficacy for tendon or ligament injury.
