Why tendon is different

Tendon and ligament have very poor blood supply compared with muscle. Repair depends on delivery, and delivery depends on blood.

That's the bottleneck. Everything else downstream is waiting on it.

What the research looks at

In animal and cell studies BPC-157 accelerated tendon explant outgrowth, increased tendon fibroblast migration dose-dependently, improved cell survival under oxidative stress, and upregulated growth hormone receptor in tendon fibroblasts.

That evidence is preclinical. It's a reason for interest and a reason for supervision, not a promise.

Poor vascularity. Less blood means slower delivery of everything repair depends on.
