Recovery

It healed to eighty percent.
Then it stopped.

Why soft tissue stalls, and what the research is actually looking at.

Everybody's got one. The one that got most of the way back and then just sat there.

You don't rehab it anymore. You work around it. You built your whole style around avoiding it and you'd have to think hard to remember when that started.

That's not weakness. That's plumbing.

The blood supply problem

Muscle is richly vascularised. Tendon and ligament are not. That one difference explains why a muscle strain settles in weeks and a tendon problem drags for months.

The tissue isn't refusing to heal. It's starved.

Repair is four processes, not one

Building blood supply. Moving repair cells to the damage. Controlling the inflammatory signal. Waking the stem cells that rebuild muscle fibre.

Addressing one part of a four-part process tends to produce one part of a result. That's why single-agent approaches often stall.

Common questions

Why does tendon take longer than muscle?

Blood supply. Tendon and ligament are comparatively avascular, so delivery of oxygen, nutrients and repair cells is far slower.

Do peptides speed healing?

Preclinical research describes mechanisms relevant to repair. Large human outcome trials establishing accelerated healing are not available.

What if my injury plateaued?

Get it assessed. A problem that stalled often has a structural or mechanical explanation that no compound addresses.

This is a conversation
to have with a physician.

Someone who can evaluate the actual injury, not a checkout page.
